8 drool-worthy dishes to order at Bay Leaf 🤤

1. Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken, also known as Chicken Makhani, is a Bay Leaf menu staple. It’s made with a tomato-based sauce and pureed nuts (pistachios, cashews, almonds) blended together then sautéed with shredded chicken. If you’re new to Indian cuisine, this is a great dish to begin your journey.

2. Vegetable Kadai

Bay Leaf also offers plenty of vegetarian and vegan options like their Vegetable Kadai. This dish includes mixed veggies tossed in onions and tomatoes and flavored with herbs, spices and a touch of ginger for a twist.

3. Dhaba Chicken Curry

Dhaba Chicken Curry is a favorite in India and across the globe. This chicken curry consists of an original sauce made of coconut milk, onions and tomatoes. The chicken is then tossed with the sauce, herbs and spices to bring all of the elements together perfectly.

4. Chicken korma

If you prefer a more mild dish, the Chicken Korma is one to try. This sauce is also made with pureed nuts (cashew, pistachios, almonds and walnuts) then combined with the chicken, herbs and butter to create a rich, creamy consistency.

5. Lamb Rogan Josh

Rogan Josh is a popular Kashmiri dish that originated in Northern India. Typically spicy, Chef Z tones down the heat to bring out other aromatic flavors. The base of Bay Leaf’s Lamb Rogan Josh sauce consists of mild red chilies, fennel seeds and yogurt.

6. Cauliflower Gobi Manchurian

Bay Leaf’s take on Gobi Manchurian, a popular Indo-Chinese recipe, includes cauliflower covered in a savory sauce made of herbs, garlic, ginger and soy sauce. P.S. This dish pairs perfectly with their burnt chili garlic fried rice. YUM.

7. Saag Paneer

Get in your greens with Bay Leaf’s Saag Paneer. They’re shaking up this spinach dish by making it with fresh mustard and spinach leaves, tossing it with onions and tomatoes, then adding cottage or ricotta cheese inside. Plus a touch of tomato for some added flavor.

8. Parda Biryani + Butter Naan

On the left is their Parda Biryani, a bowl of rice, meat and herbs with a crispy dough top. Everything is cooked with the dough covering the pot so get ready for delicious aromas to escape once you break it open.

On the right is their Butter Naan which is the perfect accompaniment to any dish. They also offer other naan options including:

  • Garlic Naan
  • Chilly Naan
  • Peshawari Naan
  • Keto Almond Flour Naan

Of course, you’ll need something to cheers with during a delicious meal… 🍹

If you’re not drooling yet, Bay Leaf’s cocktails might do the trick. Their menu consists of unique twists on classic favorites including:

  • Rooh-Afzah Cosmopolitan — a novel cosmopolitan made with Indian rose-flavored sherbet ‘Rooh Afzah’, top-shelf vodka, triple sec, lemon + a splash of orange juice.
  • Mangojita — A summer favorite mojito made with fresh Indian mangoes, club soda and white rum, then garnished with a fresh mint twig.
  • Thumbs Up Smash — India’s favorite soda (a Coca-Cola product) infused with a dash of lime and chaat masala, spiked with spiced dark rum and garnished with coriander leaves.
