A visual recap of Fall 2020 in Birmingham—see our 9 buzziest videos
Another season come and gone… it’s hard to believe there are only a few days left in 2020. As we wrap up fall and head into winter, we wanted to take a look back on the season—and we’re sharing it with you. Read on to see what’s been buzzing in Bham!
1. Harvest Roots Opens
The coolest new taproom in town opened this year, and we loved getting a sneak peek. If you’re a kombucha fan (or if you’ve never tried it), be sure to stop by Harvest Roots in 2021.
2. Nothing to Wine About Here
One shop we’re all excited to welcome—Red or White. This Alabama favorite opened its first Birmingham location and became the newest addition to Forest Park.
3. Taco. Tuesday.
The holidays will be over soon, but never fear. Every Tuesday can be a holiday if you’re doing it right. We celebrated at Unos Tacos in the Pizitz Food Hall, and you can get a sneak preview.

4. Bridge Lights are Back!
One thing is for sure: the lights under 59/20 are a hit in Birmingham. The best part? They’re here to stay.

5. Spooky Season
We love #SpookySzn in the Magic City. This year might have looked a little different, but Bham residents went all out with the decorations. We captured a few of our favorites!
6. National Sandwich Day, Bham Style
This one speaks for itself. We went out to celebrate National Sandwich Day the best way we know how—by chowing down at a local restaurant, and taking you along with us.

7. These Boots are Made for Walking
An exciting new retail addition popped up at the Summit this fall. Tecovas, a legendary fine bootmaker and western goods retailer from Texas, opened its first Alabama location right here in Bham.
8. Nuts about Birmingham
An iconic local business on an iconic local street. We got an inside look at Alabama Peanut Co. (and maybe picked up a snack or two while we were at it).
9. Miracle on 24th Street
We wrapped up one season by sledding merrily into another. Queen’s Park launched their annual Christmas wonderland, and you can bet we were some of the first ones inside.
