With Covid-19 numbers spiking, this holiday season will look very different for our essential workers. Christopher Groom of Mountain High Outfitters wants to make sure he is doing his part to honor and support these frontline heroes.

That’s why he’s reviving the Get One, Give One special where you can gift an essential worker a new pair of shoes after buying one pair of Mountain High Outfitters’ select brands.

“The rise of Covid cases has sparked a new desire to donate. I wanted to do my part in giving the individuals who put themselves at risk each and every day a chance to receive a comfortable pair of shoes since they are usually working long hours on their feet. Whether they are teachers, nurses, doctors, law enforcement or in a field affected directly by Covid-19, they get the opportunity.

Mountain High’s 10 Days of Giving campaign kicks off December 4 and ends December 13, 2020.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Stop by any Mountain High Outfitters location and buy one of these eight brands of shoes:
    • On Cloud
    • Hoka
    • Salomon
    • Altra
    • Birkenstock
    • Chaco
    • Keen
    • Oofos
  2. When you check out, let the person who helps you know the name, phone number and email address of the essential worker you’d like to give the second pair of shoes to.
  3. Let your giftee know that you’ve gifted them a pair of shoes, and tell them to keep an eye on their email. The team at Mountain High will be sending an email certificate to each recipient once confirmed with the next steps.

*Note: The redemption period for all gifted footwear will run from January 1 through February 28.
