Who exactly is Highlands College?
There’s a good chance you’ve heard of Church of the Highlands, the life-growing church that meets in multiple locations throughout Central Alabama and parts of Georgia. Well, say hello to its biblical higher education institution, Highlands College.

Lauren Sisler
Hosting the conference will be Lauren Sisler, two-time national and award-winning sports broadcaster from ESPN and SEC Network.
John C. Maxwell
John C. Maxwell is a No. 1 New York Times bestselling author, coach and speaker. He has also been identified as the No. 1 leader in business by the American Management Association and the world’s most influential leadership expert by Business Insider and Inc. Magazine.
Through his many organizations, Maxwell has trained millions of leaders from every nation in the world.
Alan Mulally
Former President and Chief Executive Officer of The Ford Motor Company, Alan Mulally led Ford’s transformation into one of the world’s leading automobile companies and the No. 1 automobile brand in the United States.
Prior to joining Ford, Mulally served The Boeing Company for 37 years as Executive Vice President and President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes and of Boeing Information, Space and Defense Systems. His work led to them being the No. 1 commercial airplane company and aerospace company in the world.
Bonnie St. John
Despite having her right leg amputated at age 5, Bonnie St. John became the first African American ever to win medals in Winter Olympic competition. Along with being a Paralympic athlete, she is a best-selling author, keynote speaker, television and radio personality, business owner and Fortune 500 leadership consultant.
Mark Pettus
As President of Highlands College, Mark Pettus educates, equips and empowers the next generation of leaders. Through his work at Highlands College, he has helped build a place where students and adults alike can prepare for a life of eternal impact.
Chris Hodges
Founder and senior pastor of Church of the Highlands, Chris Hodges has a deep passion for developing leaders and planting life-giving churches. In 2011, he co-founded Association of Related Churches (ARC), which has hundreds of churches across the U.S.
