Sip, sip hooray! There’s nothing to wine about here because Birmingham is about to welcome its newest wine bar, Aviné. Let’s take a look at the anticipated addition to 2nd Avenue North and when to expect their grand opening.

Whether you’re ending the week with friends or looking for a mid-week wind-down, now you’ll have a new spot to check out called Aviné. After all, everyone could use some time to stop and smell the rosé.

Where will Aviné be located?

Aviné will be in good company. The new wine bar is located at 2225 2nd Avenue North. This area in the Loft District is one of my personal favorite spots in Birmingham. When it comes to good eats, you’ve got a lot of options on 2nd Avenue North. Aviné will be neighbors with amazing restaurants like:

“We are tremendously excited to be in addition to the community and to hopefully provide a retail space that is educational, informative, and most importantly, fun. Between my fiance Ashley Tanner and myself, we have a combined forty years with the Stitt family. Our time there will always be unforgettable and we are excited to share what we learned from them.”

Well, we’re not really sure about the official opening day. Right now the owners of Aviné are aiming to open their doors by the second week of November.

Demolition and construction for the wine bar started this summer. Thanks to Grayson Construction LLC and Poole & Company Architects everything has been on track. We’re talking a brand new floor, beautiful new wooden shelves and more. After all, the atmosphere is just as important as the product in my opinion.

“We will be open seven days a week. We will open at 12PM and close at 12AM. We will offer small snacks such as meats, cheeses and small toasts. We will have about 150 wines that we will offer at retail pricing with an additional $20 corkage fee to enjoy it with us.”

To stay up to date with Birmingham’s newest wine bar, follow Aviné on social. They’re making sure to keep everyone in the loop and of course, will let you know when opening day is.
