A new concept, The HIVE is coming soon to Five Points South. Taking the space of The Woolworth, it will offer multiple experiences including rooftop access, a taproom from a national brewery, a stand-alone bar and more. Here’s what we know.

Located in the former Woolworth space, The HIVE will house several experiences. The space will include a restaurant, bar, taproom, rooftop and event space.

The main experience at The HIVE will be a collaboration with New Belgium Brewing. This will be Birmingham’s first taproom from a national brewery. They’ll have a rotating selection of seasonal and limited release beers, as well as food pairings.

They’ll also have a standalone bar donned, Peerless & The Dude, which will include a casual lounge area.

The HIVE will offer a private event space, where parties of any size can rent the entire place. Other features include a rooftop with views of Five Points South.
