Parfait! Chez Fonfon + Chez Lulu reopen
Reading time: 2 minutes
Bien joué! Even the Moulin Rouge isn’t as popular as Birmingham’s favorite French restaurants. Chez Fonfon and Chez Lulu are turning their signs around to Ouverts and saying “Entrez” to indoor dining.
Chez Lulu follows sister bakery’s lead
Smells of fresh-baked croissants, macarons and other tasty treats wafted out of Continental Bakery’s doors once again when it reopened August 24. Following close behind, its sister restaurant Chez Lulu is now officially welcoming patrons back to its quaint corner of the street in English Village.
A promising post from Chez Fonfon
How is it possible we’ve gone half a year without sitting under Chez Fonfon’s patio paradise? The wait is finally fini—the team announced via Instagram that they’re opening the patio and several sidewalk tables Tuesday, 9/29 with safety precautions.
A couple of points before you grab your keys and head for the door:
- Reservations are required via Resy.com.
- Curbside service will continue until 8PM on Friday, 9/25 and for lunch and dinner on Saturday, 9/26.
- Tables are 6 ft apart, hand sanitizer is on every table, QR code for menus (single-use paper menus upon request) and masks are required to enter (while not seated and when engaging with staff).
Bon Appétit, Birmingham!
