Haven’t been to Cahaba Heights for a while? You need to check out our latest guide to the area.

There’s so much happening there, including food (hello plentiful outdoor dining options), retail (cute fall clothes, anyone?), new developments and even a spa.

And now, new things are on the way

The long-awaited Milo’s Hamburgers opening is almost here: mark your calendar for September 24 and head to the former Rite Aid location to see what all the fuss is about.

Soon, by mid-November, just in time for the holidays, you’ll be able to get your Cookie Fix without having to drive all the way to Homewood.

Location, Location, Location

You’ll find the Cookie Fix #2 at The Heights Village.

Cookies that’ll make your mouth water

Here’s some of what you can expect to be able to try at the new location:

  • Frozen cookie dough balls

The Cookie Fix Story

Amy Jason is “that Mom.” You know, the one who turns up at every event with the plate of hot, fresh cookies that everybody fights over. Once she started getting a reputation for her cookies, frozen dough balls became a regular staple in her freezer to make sure that “friends and family were never more than 10 minutes from cookie heaven.”

The fact that she turned her passion into a business means the rest of us get to pretend like we’re Jason’s family and friends, too. She even sells frozen cookie dough balls so you can pretend like you made them yourself. 😉 Shhhhh, we won’t tell.

If you can’t wait ‘till November, head over to Homewood today to get your fix.
