Milo’s Hamburgers is an Alabama favorite, and for good reason. Whether you’re in the mood for a scratch-made buttermilk biscuit breakfast, a freshly grilled burger or of course, some ice-cold famous sweet tea, they’ve got it all. Milo’s is opening a new location in Cahaba Heights this month, and we’re bringing you all the details.

Expanding a restaurant in 2020 is no small feat, and it’s a testament to just how much people love Milo’s Hamburgers. Back in May, we reported that Milo’s had plans to open a new location in the former Rite Aid on Crosshaven Drive.

According to an interview with CEO Tom Dekle reported by Neal Embry with Vestavia Voice, the location will include outdoor seating and a drive-thru. Although the indoor dining room will not open with the restaurant, drive-thru and takeout service will be available.

Find the new location at 3965 Crosshaven Drive in Cahaba Heights, at the corner of Green Valley Road and Crosshaven Drive.

What You’ll Find

If you’ve never been to Milo’s Hamburgers, you’re missing out. Even if you’re not a big fast-food fan, it’s easy to forget you grabbed this goodness from a drive-thru.

Our recommendations? You can’t go wrong with breakfast of Conecuh Sausage, egg and cheese on a buttermilk biscuit. Of course, Milo’s is famous for its burgers. Their original burger is consists of a fresh grilled patty topped with onions and pickles, drenched in their secret sauce and served on a warm, grilled bun.

Got a sweet tooth? Grab a hand-spun milkshake (cookies ‘n cream is a cult favorite) or a hot lemon, peach or apple pie.
