Join The Lonely Hearts Club This Valentine’s Day 💕
Who says you have to have a Valentine to celebrate Valentine’s Day? Whether your box is ticked taken, single or it’s complicated, The Lonely Hearts Club is the Valentine’s party you don’t want to miss.
There will be drinks, dancing, a DJ and more all setting up shop in The Pizitz Food Hall on Feb. 14. Here’s what to look forward to at the free event:
Forget Roses—Sip on Rosé 🥂
Start the night off the right way with rosé. The Louis Bar will have specials all night so you’ll have plenty to sip on.
Not a fan of rosé? No problem. The Louis Bar is stocked and ready to serve up whatever cocktail or beer your heart desires. They’ll stay open until 11PM.
Treat Yo’self With Delicious Eats From The Pizitz Food Hall 🍲
The best part about a party at The Pizitz? Definitely the eats. The stalls will be open until 8PM so you’ll be able to snack on appetizers like MoMo’s fried green beans or treat yourself to a nice dinner like a bowl of ramen from Pho Pho. YUM. Check out some of our favorite food hall dishes here.
Learn to Rumba with Forma Arts + Wellness 💃
Rumba is a sassy, Latin-style of ballroom dance. It’s a basic pattern of two quick side steps and a slow forward step—think salsa with a twist. But don’t worry if you’ve never tried it before. This pop-up class is for beginners and the folks at Forma Arts + Wellness will make sure you’ve got all the steps right.
One ticket costs $15, but if you bring a dance partner along, you can get 2 tickets for $25 with their couple discount. Get your tickets + more deets here.
Keep on Dancing with DJ Mark A.D. 🎶
After that rumba class, you’ll probably be inspired. And you don’t have to stop dancing when it’s over. The dance party will continue with live music from DJ Mark A.D.
You’ve probably danced to DJ Mark A.D. in Birmingham before—he frequents spots like Iron City and Avondale Brewing. And now he’s bringing the beats to The Lonely Hearts Club.
Snap a Festive Photo at The FlashBar 📸
Is it really a party is The FlashBar isn’t there? The answer is no. No, it’s not. Whether you’re there with your Valentine, Galentines or meet someone along the way, you’ll be glad to have a good pic to remember the night.
Plus it will be free and festive at The Lonely Hearts Club. A win-win.
