NEW OPENING! The Little London is coming to Homewood

Popular Birmingham food truck Little London Kitchen serves up the best flavors and traditions from across the pond. They’ve gained dedicated fans all across the city since their opening, and they just announced their latest project—a new pub.
The Little London will open in Homewood later this year. Check it out!
The Business
Little London Kitchen launched in 2019. This food truck serves traditional British comfort foods and exploded in popularity not long after they opened.
Bham Now’s resident Brit was one of the first to check it out, and he gave Little London Kitchen a resounding stamp of approval. The food truck was so much of a hit that just six months after its launch, the owners are expanding into a permanent location.
The Food
Little London Kitchen was founded by Bea and Matthew Morrissette. One half of the duo, Bea, described their menu as a little bit of her home that she gets to share with customers.
“Our core menu comprises of British comfort foods like fish’n’chips, meat or veggie pies, sausage rolls, and shepherd’s pie.”

They serve other classics as well, including Vegetable Masaman and other curry dishes—which are actually some of the most popular foods in Great Britan.

The Duchess
The Duchess is the nickname of the 1968 vintage red double-decker bus that also serves as Little London Kitchen’s dining room! She started her journey in England, then was shipped over to Canada and took a train to Colorado, where she was restored by a previous owner.
The Duchess has been retrofitted with tables on both levels and is decorated with iconic London locations. You can spot her cruising around Birmingham—catch her to get your delicious comfort food (plus that perfect Instagram pic).
The New Project
On January 10, Little London Kitchen owners Bea and Matthew announced that they would be opening a pub in Homewood called The Little London.
They’re not the only business owners eyeing Homewood. This area continues to grow with new businesses opening up and expanding every month.
The Little London is currently on track to open in March 2020—and you can bet we’ll be some of the first ones at the door.
