Bham Nower Lexie recently got a new puppy that may take the Baby Yoda lookalike cake.

If you don’t already follow Bham Now on Instagram, what are you doing?? That’s your first step here. We’re launching our very own sweepstakes Thursday morning (12/19), and you’re not going to want to miss out.

Here’s how it works:

  • Thursday morning (12/19), stay tuned to our Instagram for the official launch
  • The goal: We’re on the lookout out for Birmingham’s best Baby Yoda fur baby lookalike
  • How you win: Think your pet is a winner? Share a photo on your Instagram story of your very own Yoda and tag @bhamnow
  • Friday morning (12/20), we’ll be reposting our top two picks on Bham Now’s Instagram story
  • Picking the winner: That’s up to you! We’ll hold a vote on our Instagram stories on Friday. Whoever has the most votes by 5PM will WIN

The best part?

The winner gets to choose their favorite animal rights nonprofit in the Birmingham area, and Bham Now will donate $100 in your pet’s honor.

In the meantime, check out these precious shelter animals that are up for adoption and maybe get some posing inspiration along the way.

3. Nathan

This big-eared baby is just looking for his Mando. Could it be you? Nathan is a sweet little terrier mix who’s about a year and a half old.
