2. Laster’s Iron Stone Pizzeria
I know what you’re thinking—didn’t an IronStone Pizza already come and leave Trussville several months ago? Yes, that’s exactly what happened. So here’s the skinny.
Laster’s Iron Stone Pizzeria will take over the former location of IronStone Pizza in the Homestead Village shopping center. While the location is the same, it’s an entirely new eatery.
Behind the eatery are Teddy Zane and Jennifer Miller, owners of Laster Sundries On Main in Springville, which serves New York style pizza and ice cream.
“When the shopping center was first built, I tried putting a bid on a space for a pizzeria, but they already had the IronStone bid so I couldn’t move forward. When IronStone shut down, I saw my opening to finally get in. I moved immediate to get the space.”
Teddy Zane, Owner, Iron Stone Pizzeria
