If you want to get your holiday shopping done early while supporting local businesses, come out to the Mountain Brook Villages November 14–December 5 for three Holiday Open House events.

When you buy a gift from a chain store, you know that hundreds and thousands of people around the country have bought that very same gift. So if you’d like to purchase something unique while supporting the businesses in your community, shop local.

Mountain Brook Holiday Open Houses

At the Village Open Houses, participating businesses throughout Mountain Brook open their doors and put on sales for customers. In addition, each village open house is special. Some will feature a village theme or include interactive games, while others offer food and drinks to customers. It’s the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Check out all the unique aspects of the three Holiday Open Houses.

1. Crestline Village

Throughout the night, Christmas carolers from The Exceptional Foundation will be singing your favorite holiday tunes. Meanwhile, the local middle school jazz band will perform as well. During the event, make your way to Crestline City Hall to take a picture with Santa Claus!

2. English Village

In addition to the festive decorations, English Village will put on a friendly game of neighborhood poker. During the event, shoppers will draw a card at each participating shop. At the end of the night, the shopper with the best hand will be awarded a gift basket with Village Gold and items from other local merchants.

3. Mountain Brook Village

In Mountain Brook Village, Bromberg’s sets up a festive Christmas tree in the square. Merchants will each have something special to offer including SpeedSpa’s Polar Express theme. Your little ones will love to ride the special holiday train that runs through the entire village. Afterwards, they can meet Santa at the GreenWise Market!
