August 16-25 marks the 10th annual Birmingham Restaurant Week (BRW). The event celebrates Birmingham’s amazing culinary scene while supporting REV Birmingham’s mission of creating vibrant commercial districts. With 55+ restaurants participating, be sure to grab a seat and enjoy an amazing meal. Learn more. 

Love, Peace, Grooving and 90’s Stuff

For a weekend of live music, head to Iron City. Here’s the lineup:

• Friday, August 16: head back to the 60s and 70s with the Baby Boomers Show Featuring Rock Candy Band. 
• Saturday, August 17: discover the world’s most powerful 90’s country party band—Mustache The Band. 

Let Us All Say L’Chaim

On Sunday, August 18, the Birmingham Holocaust Education Center will honor Alabama’s Holocaust Survivors and their families during their annual fundraising event—L’Chaim (“to live”). The event takes place in the Jemison Concert Hall at UAB’s Alys Stephens Center from 2:30-4PM. Tickets here.
