Adamson Ford has been located in downtown Birmingham, AL for over a century. They’ve seen the city through a lot, and today, they’re committed as ever to helping the Birmingham community thrive.

1. By Taking Care of What’s Around Them

Adamson Ford is a lot more than a car dealership. They are an integral part of the Birmingham community– and they don’t take that role lightly.

“You don’t stay around for 100 years without taking care of what is around you– it is a strong belief of ours that if you take care of people they will take care of you.”

Robert Howard, Adamson Ford

2. Through Commitment to Community

Adamson Ford understands that there are some elements that are vital to a community’s success— local youth, healthcare, non-profits, and more. They invest both time and money into these organizations and have for years.

Adamson Ford sponsors the Odenville Youth Athletic Association, Moody and Locust Fork High School baseball, as well as Hoover and Jackson Olin High School football, just to name a few of their youth support ventures.

They support healthcare organizations like the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Alabama Lyme Disease Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and more.

In over 100 years, community involvement and support has never been put on the backburner by the folks at Adamson Ford.

3. By Supporting Those #BuiltInBham

The Birmingham Barons is the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. Their addition to the city brought a lot of benefit to the community— and we all know by now that’s what Adamson Ford is all about.

Adamson Ford has been a sponsor of the Birmingham Barons for the last two years. They give away free gear at pretty much every home game, they sponsored the home run derby for the minor league all-star game, and more.

In early July, Adamson Ford had a used car night at a Baron’s game, during which they gave away 4 used cars to lucky audience members. So, when they say they give away free gear, they don’t just mean pencils and cups!

4. Through Welcoming the New

Despite being around for over 100 years, Adamson Ford welcomes and supports newcomers to the Birmingham community, as well.

Birmingham Legion FC was established in 2017 and played their inaugural game in early 2019. Adamson Ford had been a Legion supporter from the get-go and kicked off their partnership by putting Head Coach Tom Soehn in a Ford vehicle.

During the season, Adamson Ford helps provide Legion with vehicles to transport gear to and from the practice facilities, as well as sporting an ad board on Legion Field.

Birmingham Legion home games may be some of the most fun you can have in the city. These fans will have you yelling, “Hammer Down!” in no time!

Head down to Adamson Ford and let your mode of transportation be a way of improving your city!
