Both buildings will will feature retail space on the ground floor. One of the buildings will offer living quarters on the second floor, while the other will include professional office space.

“This project exemplifies the vision and commitment of Mayor Choat, the City Council and the Downtown Redevelopment Authority.  This Phase One project has reignited the downtown district. It will offer a wide range of activities for Trussville families with a mix of restaurants, shops and living units.  We expect that it will have a regional draw because of its unique setting and compelling events.”

Dave Reese, Principal and President, TURNERBATSON

Reese also filled us in on some really exciting news! The first business to launch will be Ferus Brewery in September. It will feature a fun atmosphere, new beer brand and fast/casual restaurant.

Jack’s biscuit makers will act as the restaurants main focal point, too, so you’ll actually be able to watch them hard at work as they prepare fresh biscuits daily.

“We are excited to be opening another store in the Trussville area. The restaurant we are building will be one of our newest store builds and will be a great addition to that area.”

Julianna Hallman, Marketing Strategy and Planning Manager, Jack’s
