Where to find alcohol-free cocktails in Birmingham, including Seedlip spirits at LeNell’s
Abstaining from alcohol–even just temporarily—is becoming increasingly common. Whether you’re taking a brief break from boozing or not drinking for personal reasons, Birmingham has several options for you.
Sure, you can get a “virgin” drink anywhere or order alcohol-free beer at many bars and restaurants, but the Birmingham bars below have special alcohol-free cocktails on their menu.
Queen’s Park
Queen’s Park has an alcohol-free drink menu with a Seedlip cocktail–more on that later. They also have a drink called the “Accidentally Overslept”, which is a combination of milk and cereal. Classic.

The Marble Ring
The Marble Ring pays homage to Zelda Scott Fitzgerald, an Alabama native and icon of the roaring 1920s. If you want a speakeasy feel without the speakeasy hangover, try one of their mocktail options.
Location: 430 41st St S Suite B, Birmingham, AL 35222
NOTE: Of course Birmingham’s other cocktail bars will make you an alcohol-free cocktail as well, if you ask.
Alcohol-free spirits
Did you know that alcohol-free spirits are now a thing? And they’re available at LeNell’s Beverage Boutique in Norwood. More info below.
LeNell’s Beverage Boutique
If you haven’t stopped by LeNell’s yet, you’re missing out. This boutique sells spirits and local beer along with wine bottles you probably haven’t seen anywhere else. In addition to alcoholic beverages, they carry Seedlip, a brand of alcohol-free spirits distilled from herbs and spices. Ashley Coston with LeNell’s explained that the establishment is “passionate about the beverage, not just alcoholic beverages.” Cheers to that.
