Love Birmingham food trucks, beer, local goods and games? We do too! Enjoy them all on Saturday, June 15th, from 1-5PM, for the third annual Funky Food Truck Festival at Cahaba Brewing benefiting AIDS Alabama. Everyone’s welcome, including kids and dogs.
And, for those who can stand to have even more fun, you can head to Goodwill Game Nights every Wednesday in June at Cahaba Brewing. These start at either 5:30PM or 7PM (see below for the full schedule). Cahaba Brewing donates 10% of beer sales and all game play donations to AIDS Alabama.
You can enjoy cold beer from Cahaba Brewing, food from seven food trucks peruse the wares from a number of local vendors and check out adorable and adoptable animals from the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Also, DJ Gil will be there with tunes outside to add to the festive funky atmosphere.
Suggested donation is $5 per person, and all donations benefit the programs of AIDS Alabama. You can even make an advance donation by texting FUNKY to 41444. How easy is that?
Food Trucks at the Funky Food Truck Festival
Seven food trucks are lined up for the Funky Food Truck Festival. What this means for everyone who decides to come is that there will be plenty of tasty options for you, for any kids who might be with you, and for your dog. Yep, AIDS Alabama thought of everything.

Vendors at the Funky Food Truck Festival
Once you’ve had a chance to grab a beer or some food, you can check out the wares these local vendors will have on offer. There’s something for everyone, to make for a lovely Saturday afternoon of shopping.
1. Banjo Cold Brew Coffee
Organic, fair trade cold brew coffee from Decatur, Georgia.
2. SHOPPE
A garden, home, and gift store (and soon, a cafe) located in Birmingham’s Forest Park neighborhood
3. Plunder & Spell
Fresh, homemade soap, anyone? After a hot, sunny day outside in the Alabama sun, you’re gonna need it.
4. Elements
Clothes and more for women and men with some local and vintage, located in Crestwood (right next to Crestwood Pharmacy).
5. Paul Cordes Wilm
Paul Cordes Wilm is an Alabama-born and bred painter, filmmaker and more. You can check out his “folk-pop” art at the festival.

Wednesday Goodwill Gamenights at Cahaba Brewing throughout the month of June
Lest anyone think the Funky Food Truck Festival is a one-time shot at some fun in the sun, the good times are happening throughout the month of June.
For the whole month, Cahaba Brewing Company’s Wednesday night Goodwill Gamenight will benefit AIDS Alabama, too. Cahaba Brewing will donate 10% of all beer sales as well as the donations for game play on those nights. Suggested game play donation = $5. We say cheers to that!

6/12: Cornhole Tourney at 5:30pm
6/19: Bingo at 7pm
6/26: Skeeball Shootout at 5:30pm
Mark your calendar now. You’re not going to want to miss the Funky Food Truck Festival Saturday, June 15 at Cahaba Brewing from 1-5PM. Bring your friends, bring your neighbors, bring your dog and get ready to have some fun. While you’re at it, make plans to go to Wednesday Goodwill Gamenights, also at Cahaba Brewing.
