These new restaurant joins Duluth Trading Co., Culvers Aldi as the latest huge additions to this brand and new development located off John Hawkins Parkway. This Big Whiskey’s location is also the first ground-up prototype of the restaurant’s brand new prototype design.

Big Whiskey’s opened its doors for the first time in 2006 in Springfield, Missouri. It now boasts 11 locations with several more to come. Big Whiskey’s menu includes all the dishes we know and love from a sports bar atmosphere, including saucy baby back ribs, a classic all-American burger and 14 flavors of buffalo wings.

“The opportunity for our brand to build a new property with our latest design, in this state-of-the-art development, is really exciting for everyone in our company. We’re really looking forward to partnering with the Alabama owners on this first for Big Whiskey’s.”

Austin Herschend, President of Big Whiskey’s Restaurant and Bar

Stadium Trace Village includes some tasty eateries and fun retailers Birmingham is already familiar with. However, these latest three will be the first of their kind in our growing city. Duluth Trading Co. opened its doors in Wisconsin 30 years ago. Now, the store offers workwear and casual apparel for both men and women. Similarly, Culvers is also a Wisconsin-based fast casual dining experience, serving burgers, custard and shakes in a wholesome family-friendly environment.

“Culver’s fits our vision for the project in that we want Stadium Trace Village to be a family destination for area residents. Their wholesome approach to casual dining is what our project is all about.”

Stadium Trace Village is located right off of Exit 10, bordered by Stadium Trace Parkway. Stay tuned for updates on this brand new development.
