For the first time in its storied history, the Mercedes-Benz Marathon Weekend races will be held on February 9-10 at Birmingham’s popular Railroad Park.
“We’re so excited about our revised course,” said Valerie Cuddy, Mercedes-Benz Race Chair.
“Thanks to the City of Birmingham, Traffic Engineering and ALDOT, we were able to continue to include the beautiful historical areas around Birmingham on our route. We’ve had to move our start and finish from City Hall over to Railroad Park so a few minor revisions had to be made to the course. We are really excited about the the changes and feel like the runners coming in from around the U.S. and from 5 countries worldwide will enjoy the scenic running tour of our great city.”
