Reading time: 2 minutes
Birmingham Restaurant Week brings together some of the city’s best brunch restaurants into one delicious, mouthwatering experience. And this past Saturday (Aug. 11), foodies across Birmingham headed to Woodlawn for the Harvest Brunch kick-off to get first dibs on the food and hype surrounding the event.
The Food
The only way to kick off Birmingham Restaurant Week’s Harvest Brunch was with lots of food to devour. And trust me, there was plenty!During the event, vendors served up incredible samples that amplified the scrumptious flavors of the Alabama farmers’ produce.
Some of the restaurants who served during the event were:
- Dreamland BBQ
- Whistling Table
- MO:MO
- Taco Morrow Loco
- Lucky Cat Rolled Ice Cream
The Drinks
It may have been hot during the event, but there were plenty of tents, fans and refreshing drinks for all.
Guests sipped on iced and cold brew coffee from Red Diamond, beer from Cahaba Brewing and wine from Emerald Hare. Tito’s Handmade Vodka was also there with tasty cocktails and a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar.
The Fun
Held at Social Venture in Woodlawn and set to the beat of live jazz music, the Harvest Brunch kick-off was an excellent mix of food, drinks and good times.
