2 new eateries open for business in Trussville, including Great Harvest Bread Co.
Trussville’s revitalization is speeding up as new shops and restaurants are beginning to pop up across town. Here are two new eateries that are open for business.
Great Harvest Bread Co.
Great Harvest Bread Co. has been open for a little over a week now (the grand opening was June 22), and so far, it has been a hit.
Owned by Trussville residents, David and Jennifer Snyder, this is Alabama’s very first Great Harvest Bread Co. It originated in Montana in 1976 and has since become a franchise.
“It has been a long road and we are grateful for all the support we have received along the way,” said David. “The hope is not just to meet, but exceed expectations.”
Deliciously coined “Bread Heaven”, this yummy cafe serves up specialty baked goods, soups and sandwiches. And it’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Bonus points:
- Everything is made from scratch daily.
- Most ingredients are local.
Some breads you’ll find on the menu include honey whole wheat, multi-grain and cinnamon chip.
Other items range from scones, Savannah bars and muffins to cookies and teacakes.
You can find Great Harvest Bread Co. at 218 Main St., Trussville, AL 35173.
