Are you a professional in the Birmingham area who wants to get involved and give back to our community, while building skills, networking and enhancing that important resume. Look no further! Vulcan Park and Museum is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 Junior Leadership Board. ⠀
The Junior Leadership Board supports the mission and needs of Vulcan Park and Museum and assists leadership with general promotion of the organization.
There are many opportunities for the Junior Leadership Board members to become involved. Development of the Vulcans on Parade community art project as well as a variety of events and fundraisers associated with Birmingham’s iconic Iron Man require the efforts and ideas of the Junior Leaders.

“Being on the Vulcan Junior Leadership Board has not only allowed me to help shape the future of Birmingham’s most famous landmark, but also has allowed me to work with local artists and community leaders to promote pride in our city through the Vulcan’s on Parade project! Seeing the colorful Vulcan statues throughout the city is a reminder that the Junior Leadership Board is making a lasting difference in Birmingham!” Russell Hooks, Happenin’s in the ‘Ham.
