Do you love the mountains and the lifestyle of Denver, Colorado like I do? Are you a Disney fanatic or a patriotic history buff who loves Philly cheese steaks and maybe the Philadelphia Eagles?
Well, Frontier Airlines made it much cheaper to get to your favorite destinations FROM BIRMINGHAM!
‘Low Fares Done Right’
Currently four airlines fly out of Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. Thursday the Birmingham Airport Authority announced the partnership with Frontier Airlines. The airline often has introductory air-fares as low as $39 and regular fares well under $99. But they do charge fees for checked baggage and carry-ons.
THE CHEAP TICKET DEADLINE TO DENVER IS FEBRUARY 12.
I went to the website and tried to see if I could book at that price and it took some patience and work. Fares to Denver were all over the board, from $39, $44, and finally to $114 depending on the time and date. But still a HUGE difference from other airlines! Definitely worth checking out.
For now Frontier will fly Birmingham travelers to three popular cities; Orlando, FL, Denver, CO, and Philadelphia, PA. Philly flights will begin on April 11, Denver April 12 and Orlando April 13.
So…start thinking about those early spring vacations and summer in the mountains or at Disney.
Frontier Airlines is headquartered in Denver. Once you get to Orlando, Denver or Philly you can then connect to many other of destinations in Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas.
Frontier says depending on how Bham embraces the airline, they will add more cities for direct flights.
