Adorable and Adoptable Pet of the Week: Maine
This week for Adorable and Adoptable, we have a pup that is our ‘main’ man.
Meet Maine
Maine is a 4-year-old male Tibetan Mastiff Mix. Those beautiful colors in his fluffy fur and his expressive eyes are pretty much signs that he’s gonna be cuddled often.
He is heartworm positive, but don’t let that scare you! Heartworm positive dogs live long and healthy lives after treatment and successfully clearing up the heartworms.
Maine is part of the GBHS’s foster-to-adopt program and will be treated until his heartworms clear up. All treatment costs are covered by GBHS. He does get to go home with his adoptive family while receiving treatment. The adoption will become official once his treatment is completed!
Adoption Info
All adoptable pets from the GBHS are neutered/spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccines. They also have more than just cats, dogs and puppies. They sometimes have birds, ferrets, reptiles, pigs, bunnies and other pets up for adoption.
All active and retired military members and their immediate family members receive waived adoption fees with a valid ID presented at the time of adoption.
