Our Bham Now ‘InstaHam’ post this week is a little different. Just in time for holiday gift shopping, we are featuring a Birmingham artist whose work is burning up Instagram!

Born and raised right here in Birmingham, AL, Kathryn Cooper developed a love for painting and printmaking at Auburn University, where she received a BFA in 2011.  After graduation Kathryn returned to Birmingham and lived in a house full of artists.

After spending a year living and working in historic downtown Charleston, SC, she’s back in Birmingham working on her Master’s in Art Education from UAB.
