Dave & Buster’s is coming to Hoover summer of 2018

As a kid, do you remember running around an arcade, eating pizza?  Well, now it is socially acceptable to do so as an adult. Dave & Buster’s is coming to Hoover!

What is it?

If you are unfamiliar with Dave & Buster’s, then I can sum it up for you in one word: fun.

Headquartered in Dallas, Dave & Buster’s is a full-service restaurant, including a video arcade and sports bar. There’s burgers, beer, arcade games, and sports.

Or, as Dave & Buster’s puts it, it is the only place to eat, drink, watch, & play sports under one roof.

Where will it be?

This Dave & Buster’s facility is expected to open at the Riverchase Galleria.  It is expected to be near the food court.

This is the first Dave & Buster’s location to open in Alabama.

“We’re just honored to have a company that’s fun and exciting, innovative, and forward thinking coming to Hoover,” Mike Shaw of Hoover City Council said to WIAT. “We’re very proud that Dave and Busters has chosen us.”

When is it opening?

Construction on the space began this summer. The restaurant is expected to open in the summer of 2018.
