I Love Bacon Food Truck will debut in Birmingham

Love bacon? Get ready to welcome this new addition to our food truck army. The I Love Bacon Food Truck will soon be hitting the streets of good ole Birmingham.
August couldn’t come fast enough especially with more bacon on the horizon. We can thank Patrick Horn for that. The executive chef and soon to be I Love Bacon operator will be pouring his love for cooking into the newest venture of his friends, Josh Patrick and Keith Hill, expanding their bacon-centric food truck. The Satterfield alum worked there since their opening in 2005 and his last day will be Saturday, July 8th.
It might come as a surprise that the I Love Bacon food truck concept is not new to Huntsville. It has been rolling around the city since April of 2014 and will be expanding to the Magic City after immense success. Founders Josh Patrick and Keith Hill developed and started the business in Huntsville with the goal of eventually heading to Bham. The business includes catering as well as food on wheels in the founding city.
The menu includes an array of bacon inspired sandwiches all of which are named after various famous artists. Grab a Carrie Underwood which includes a spinach tortilla wrap with grilled chicken or bacon or try a Carlos Santana which holds a flank steak, bacon (of course), ham and a sunny-side-up-egg all on a brioche bun. They even offer a penne pasta with a bit of a kick (and of course bacon) named Public Enemy Mac & Cheese.
Known for the amazing food scene, the Magic City has a unique voice when it comes to our food trucks. Exciting things lay ahead for mobile food in our city especially with the introduction of the Birmingham Food Truck Park.
