New ice cream shop Unbothered Scoops opening mid-July at CrossPlex

The popular Bessemer-born sweet spot, Unbothered Scoops, now has an opening timeline for its second location in Birmingham’s 5 Points West neighborhood.
The ice cream spot’s current location is in Bessemer at 2231 19th St. N., and the new, additional location will open at 2401 CrossPlex Blvd., Suite 105.

Ownership confirmed that the shop is tentatively scheduled to open the weekend of Friday, July 17. The exact day will be finalized soon, so keep an eye out on Unbothered Scoops’ social media pages.

The new storefront is located at the Birmingham CrossPlex, positioned directly between Chase Bank and Starbucks. True to the brand’s signature focus on providing a stress-free environment, the team promises a welcoming atmosphere alongside top-tier customer service.

Beyond the menu of ice cream and smoothies, the Birmingham CrossPlex location will feature a dedicated “selfie sofa” where families and friends can hang out, snap photos and share their experiences online.
