University of Montevallo announces new scholarship fund
The University of Montevallo has revealed a new scholarship fund that will bring more outstanding students to the school and to Birmingham.
The University of Montevallo
Founded in 1896, the University of Montevallo enrolls an average of 3,000 students in more than 30 degree programs and 75 majors.
With four main colleges and an emphasis on experiential learning, the University provides an outstanding education for students in Montevallo, Alabama.
The University of Montevallo Foundation
The University of Montevallo Foundation helps advance the mission of the University by raising support for the school’s many educational programs.
As a result, the foundation has said that it will add $1.1 million to the University’s scholarships. Therefore, the University’s ability to attract and keep high-achieving students will be greater than ever.

The Scholarship
The Foundation plans to spread the scholarship across seven years. In addition, it will add 25 renewable scholarships for students each school year.
Even better, this fund will increase the amount given to existing scholarships for students.
Due to this new scholarship, the University will be able to keep providing quality education for its students. As a result, now even more amazing students will be able to come to the University of Montevallo for their education!
