Adorable and Adoptable Pet of the Week: Girl
Reading time: 2 minutes
The Greater Birmingham Humane Society has plenty of pets to choose from but this week is all about Girl. With a smile like that, we can definitely see why.
This photogenic beauty is a nine-month-old Pekingese/Pomeranian mix. She may be small but she sure is spunky. She is known for her outgoing spirit and precious playfulness. Since she was found as a stray, there are some unanswered questions about her previous life. So far she has not met an animal or human at any age that she has not befriended. Her adoption fee is $25.
If you are interested in adopting Girl, you can find the adoption application on their website.
All adoptable pets from the GBHS are neutered/spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccines. They also have more than just cats, dogs and puppies. They sometimes have birds, ferrets, reptiles, pigs, bunnies and other pets up for adoption. Adoption fees are as follows:
- Cats, kittens, dogs or puppies:
- Animals six months and under: $50
- Animals older than six months: $25
- Rabbits: $25
- Ferrets: $50
- Rats, Guinea Pigs & Hamsters: $10 for one or $15 for a pair
All active and retired military members and their immediate family members receive waived adoption fees with a valid ID presented at the time of adoption.
