There has been an outpouring of stories this week honoring the life of Alabama’s former Governor Albert Brewer, who passed away Monday at 88.

A truly remarkable person, Brewer was a champion for education, constitutional reform and good government. He founded the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama (PARCA), the most respected public policy organization in the state.

Below is a video that was produced by PARCA, honoring Brewer a few years ago.

A lifetime dedicated to public service, Brewer was a leader who served our state with integrity and grace.

Here are additional stories and op-eds that have been written since his passing.
