Here is a treat.

Our friends at the Arlington Antebellum Home and Gardens are celebrating Christmas today with music and free admission (with donations encouraged).

Despite rain in the forecast, this is a wonderful opportunity to explore the interior of Birmingham’s most famous home, exquisitely decorated for Christmas.

As you can see from the slideshow, from the handrails to to the historic rooms, volunteer home decorators have transformed this special signature Birmingham landmark.

Whether you can make it out to Arlington today or not, Arlington with all it’s beauty and history is a can’t miss place to visit in Birmingham for the holidays.
