It’s no secret that UAB is an innovative and prominent university, especially in the healthcare field. According to the “2017 Best Global Universities” ranking, UAB has jumped further than their competition based on the U.S. News & World Report’s rating.

Out of 1,000 univerisites evaulated, across 65 nations, UAB ranked No. 67. This 36 spot jump means UAB is making leaps and bounds amongst not only nationally recognized Universities but globally as well. This also means the University is the top-ranked global university in Alabama by more than 250 spots.

UAB has long been recognized in certain circles — particularly in health care — as a world leader. These now-consistent recognitions on a global scale point to our growing prominence as a comprehensive research university and are a testament to the impactful work our students, faculty and staff are doing across every corner of campus.
