Job Summary
-
Provides ultrasonography health care services, applying sonic energy to demonstrate anatomical anatomy for medical diagnosis. Ultrasonic examinations are done at the request of a medical licensed practitioner and these exams are interpreted by a qualified licensed medical physician. Exercises professional judgement in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Education
-
Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology and/or an approved Ultrasound School
-

Experience
-
Pediatric ultrasound experience preferred.

Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
-
If applicant has graduated from an approved school of Radiology Technology, ARRT certification preferred.

Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in one area within 2 years of hire date.
