  • Job Summary
    • Provides ultrasonography health care services, applying sonic energy to demonstrate anatomical anatomy for medical diagnosis. Ultrasonic examinations are done at the request of a medical licensed practitioner and these exams are interpreted by a qualified licensed medical physician. Exercises professional judgement in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
    • As an ultrasonographer you must carry out the specific responsibilities of your job, plus the vision of the hospital – A BETTER CHILDHOOD FOR ALL CHILDREN.   • Education
    • Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology and/or an approved Ultrasound School
  • Experience
    • Pediatric ultrasound experience preferred.
  • Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
    • If applicant has graduated from an approved school of Radiology Technology, ARRT certification preferred.
    • Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in one area within 2 years of hire date.
