We are seeking a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Moultrie Mobile team and accelerate our new product development.  Working closely with Product Managers as well as outside development resources, this position will be responsible for designing and supporting innovative products to delight consumers while also achieving production cost and efficiency targets. The position is expected to work collaboratively with Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Sales to meet customer needs and support the strategic goals of Moultrie Mobile as well as provide technical guidance to other designers and technicians as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute design plans for all new product development.
  • Generate, update and communicate product specification documents that define product construction.  Submit engineering changes to manufacturing in a timely manner.
  • Define factory specifications and key measures.  Work with sourcing team and manufacturing to ensure quality and durability of products.
  • Collaborate with outside development teams on existing and new products to ensure quality, cost and on time delivery of working protocols for manufacturing.
  • Maintain appropriate engineering procedures throughout the product development process to achieve engineering deliverables which include cost, reliability and manufacturing objectives.
  • Work within the discipline of the new product development process to ensure only products that meet requirements and are approved are developed.
  • Develop and execute test protocols based on real world product use to ensure function and durability of products.
  • Troubleshoot any quality concerns on existing and new products to ensure corrective action is taken in design and manufacturing.
  • Support launch activities in manufacturing facilities and assembly plants.
  • Carry out other duties, responsibilities, and projects as may be assigned, in an effective manner.

Job Requirements:

  • B.S. in Engineering (Electrical) from an accredited college/university.
  • Seven (7) years successful research and development and design experience required.
  • Self-motivated and innovative.
  • Experience in AutoCAD usage / management and design software (e.g., Pro E)

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in designing and developing cellular, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connected devices strongly preferred.
  • An interest in the hunting, fishing, or outdoor sporting goods market.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft tools for data analysis, project tracking and presentations.
