Job Summary

The HR Training & Technology Specialist supports the HR team by serving as a key liaison for technical systems and training initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining training programs across multiple locations, both virtually and in person. The specialist collaborates with organizational leaders to identify learning opportunities, ensures accurate training documentation, and contributes to various HR projects. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, organized communicator with experience in training and a passion for employee development.

Responsibilities         

  • Assists AVP of People on various HR tasks
  • Serves as technical liaison for human resources department
  • Conducts and creates on-site and off-site internal training (Delivered via teams and in-person formats)
  • Creates and conducts various trainings at on-site/off-site locations (Birmingham, Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery, and Florida panhandle) for internal and external partners as needed
  • Works with Director of Organizational Development and other leaders to create learning opportunities for staff
  • Maintain training records such as rosters, completions and individual competencies
  • Works collaboratively with the entire HR team on various projects
  • Upkeep of websites

o   Salesforce

o   Marketing cloud

o   HR SharePoint pages

o   UKG maintenance and updates

  • Other duties as assigned

Education

At minimum of an associate’s degree in business, technology or similar degree

 

Experience

2-3 years of HR or technical related experience.

Working knowledge of UKG ready preferred

Technical skills, proficiency & proven in software such as Salesforce, Excel, Power Point, Canva, or other related software preferred.

Required

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance.

Working Conditions

Normal office environment with 5-10 percent travel. Some overnight travel could be required. Must be able to lift 15-30 lbs.
