Job Description:

At Regions, the Consumer Banking Strategic Execution and Business Transformation Partner leads and manages the dynamics of cross-functional process improvement projects and business-wide improvement initiatives. This job works across the Consumer Banking Group providing support with strategy development, defining end-to-end strategic roadmaps, translating business architecture needs and establishing initiatives to enable continuous improvement, business innovation and optimization and innovative client-associate experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Acts as consultant and expert resource regarding various business needs and requirements
  • Supports the development of transformational strategies and translates those strategies into initiatives and relevant business capabilities
  • Identifies business unit issues, performs root cause analysis to recommend, prioritize and facilitate the appropriate corresponding strategy and clearly articulates strategic opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Works with senior level management to integrate the Six Sigma approach into the company’s business strategy
  • Works on Black Belt projects that often include business suppliers and customers to fully integrate the Six Sigma methodology into the entire product value stream
  • Identifies, suggests, and implements best practices to facilitate best solutions and methods that will optimize processes in all areas of business
  • Improves end to end business processes that yield annualized expense reduction, positive revenue impact, increases process capacity and / or reduces risk
  • Conducts business process current state assessments identification of gaps, and designs future state processes to evolve or react to continuous industry or internal changes
  • Identifies business unit issues, assisting in root cause analysis and identifying solutions that clearly articulate strategic opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Owns the full lifecycle of strategic projects from inception to execution, formulating solutions to key business issues and opportunities
  • Pursues new opportunities for business innovation and optimization recognizing potential enhancements – performing root cause analysis to recommend, prioritize and facilitate the appropriate corresponding strategy
  • Evaluates end to end processes, procedures, and people to identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Contributes to workflow or process change and redesign, and risk and control identification
  • Translates complex insights into simple and actionable recommendations and presents to varying audiences including executives, senior managers, and associates
  • Builds and executes both technical and non-technical initiatives, advanced execution plans and growth strategies
  • Owns key deliverables that communicate segment performance for continuous improvement and management reporting
  • Develops and presents to senior business partner leadership concise analysis on opportunity findings, recommendations, and financial validation in formats as required (PowerPoint, White Paper, etc.)
  • May act as a subject matter expert and resource to associates with less experience

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Ten (10) years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, project or change management, or other related business unit experience

Preferences

  • Master’s degree
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Lean certification
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, business intelligence, and project management software (e.g., Sigma XL, Power BI, JIRA)
  • Financial banking experience

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
