Writer’s Open Mic

FreeThis Open Mic will be held at the O’Neal Library’s temporary location at 3100 Overton Road. This event is free.
An open mic is a perfect place to try out your work in progress in front of an audience and connect with others. It is the best place to make like-minded friends and support writers on their journey. Writing can be a solitary journey, so coming together builds community and helps us grow as writers. Come to share or listen!
This event is open to all writers who are invited to read or perform their original poetry or prose for 5-7 minutes. Writers who would like to perform please email Miriam on miriam.calleja@gmail.com with a short description of what they will be reading, to be added to the list in advance. If you are still unsure, you can sign up at the event, but those on the list will be given priority.
