UAB Medicine Playback Theatre Troupe

UAB Arts in Medicine is hosting a welcome call for anyone interested in becoming a member of the UAB Playback Theatre Troup—a type of improvisational storytelling where the conductor (facilitator) listens deeply to the real-life stories of audience members, and through a mix of music, drama and movement by trained performers, those stories are re-enacted on the spot.
No prior or professional acting experience is necessary or expected; performers will be trained in the techniques specific to Playback Theatre.
The deadline to apply is Tuesday, April 1.
