Renew Birmingham Community Cookout and Car Show

Renew Birmingham is thrilled to announce the upcoming Cookout and Car show, a community awareness program designed to bring the community together to celebrate the Ensley Business Alliance, and our shared interests and raise awareness for social services.
This year’s event promises to be the biggest and most exciting yet, with its revving engines, delectable flavors, and family fun. Highlights of the Renew Birmingham Cookout and Car Show include:
– Resource Organizations: Renew Birmingham has added partners to assist in Housing, Adult Education/Workforce Development, jobs/Transportation, Youth Services, and Community Health and Wellness.
– Stellar Musical Performances: Get ready to groove to the rhythm of some of the finest local and musical acts, including The Locked Band and The Prodigy featuring Deidre Geddis.
– Create Community Connections: Connect with neighbors to share time, ideas, and a willingness to invest in making our community better.
– Delicious Delights: Food lovers rejoice! The event will feature various delectable culinary offerings, including favorites like 1918 Catering, Aww Shucks, and Angel’s Bakery.
– Family-Friendly Activities: Kids will have a blast with dedicated play areas, exciting games, face painting, character appearances and engaging activities tailored just for them.

The Cookout and Car Show will occur on Saturday, July 20, from 2-6 pm at 1927 Avenue D, Ensley (Across from Cottons). It is free admission with registration. To register, visit renewbirmingham.org
