Alabama Media Professionals invites greater Birmingham community members to learn about the media’s role in political campaigns, with a focus on recognizing misinformation in advance of the 2024 local, state and national elections. This is a free event, and light snacks will be provided. We’ll hear from a panel of local journalists who cover government, politics and elections.
