Putting for Do(nations): First Tee Birmingham to Hold Golf Club Drive For Youth at Topgolf

Birmingham City Councilor Crystal Smitherman, volunteers from Regions Bank, KPMG, and others will collect donated golf clubs Monday from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. CT

WHAT:

Regions Bank on Monday, Sept. 9, will join Birmingham City Councilor Crystal Smitherman, volunteers from KPMG LLP, and other community leaders to help nonprofit First Tee Birmingham kick off its Fall 2024 season with a golf club drive for under-resourced young golfers.

Along with coordinating various activities and demonstrations for First Tee Birmingham participants, Regions and KPMG volunteers will be on hand to assist with the collection of donated clubs. The event will be a fantastic opportunity for local community members, businesses, and golf enthusiasts to support a meaningful cause and engage with the First Tee Birmingham community.

First Tee Birmingham is dedicated to providing young people with opportunities to build life skills and values through golf. The donation drive will ensure that more youth have access to necessary equipment, and the Fall Kickoff will help set the stage for an inspiring season ahead.
