“Portraits of Ghosts” features new works by emerging artist Thomas Rooney, who works in the languages of overpainting, printmaking, and painting in order to explore the many facets of the human experience. It is made possible by a grant awarded to the Friends Foundation of the Birmingham Public Library by the Alabama State Council on the Arts. It is free and open to the public.
