Join Montgomery-based artist Barbara Davis for “Painting Autumn Landscapes”. The landscape in the fall can be vibrant and this class will focus on capturing the beauty while controlling the color. Using photo references as a starting point, we will paint the autumn landscape in oils in an impressionistic style while focusing on color, value, and expressive brushwork. Students will leave the workshop with one completed or very developed painting. Barbara will demonstrate painting techniques, as well as offer one-on-one guidance. This workshop is appropriate for beginner artists. Lunch is provided.
