Join the Novel Cure Book Club and Support a Great Cause!
Dive into the world of literature and make a difference with the Novel Cure Book Club! We’re excited to announce our August read: The Housemaid by Frieda McFadden. Join us twice a month for a fun and engaging 30-minute guided discussion, all while supporting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
August Book Club Details:
– Book: The Housemaid by Frieda McFadden
– Meeting Dates:
– Session 1: August 15th @5:00PM ET (First half of the book)
– Session 2: August 29th @5:00PM ET (Second half of the book)
– Time: 30-minute sessions
– Format: Remote/Online Webinar
– Donation: $20 (100% of proceeds go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society)
By joining the Novel Cure Book Club, you’ll not only get to enjoy thought-provoking discussions about a gripping novel, but you’ll also be contributing to a vital cause. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is dedicated to curing blood cancers and improving the quality of life for patients and their families.
How to Participate:
1. Donate $20 to our Sign-Up Page. Your donation qualifies you to attend both sessions.
2. Receive Your Webinar Links: Once your donation is received and reviewed by our team, you’ll receive two separate emails with webinar links for each session. These emails will be sent within 24 hours of each meeting.
Q/A:
• Is there a free audiobook anywhere?
o The audiobook for The Housemaid is available for free on Libby or on Spotify Plus (With a Spotify Plus account), and on Audible (with an Audible subscription).
• Can’t make both sessions?
o Our team appreciates everyone’s busy schedule. If you are unable to attend one or both sessions, but still would like to be involved- our team will record the session for you to listen at your own leisure.
• I can’t find a copy. What do I do?
o Consider reaching out to your local library to assist in locating a copy. Also consider checking Libby for a digital version.
