New Works by Artist, Alan Shuptrine

The Gallery at the Grand Bohemian Hotel, Mountain Brook is hosting an exhibition and Artist Reception featuring new works by renowned artist, Alan Shuptrine.
Alan Shuptrine, a nationally renowned American watercolor artist and master craftsman, is known for his detailed paintings and has emerged as a leading practitioner in several artistic disciplines including watercolor, oil, and gold leaf. Shuptrine’s work, like that of his father (Hubert Shuptrine 1936-2006) is collected by our nation’s museums, galleries, private art collectors and corporate collections. Following his two-year solo museum tour that traveled to 4 Southeastern museums, Shuptrine released his independently published award-winning book, I Come From A Place. The book was awarded the Independent Publisher’s Gold Medal Award for Non-Fiction Regional literature. The exhibition opens with the reception on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 and the public is invited. The Gallery is located at 2655 Lane Park Rd, Birmingham, AL 35223.
