Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Audtions

Theatre is inside the Hueytown Family Recreation Center at 1348 Hueytown Road

Show dates are March 6, 7 & 8

Rehearsals will be Mon. & Thurs. evenings beginning Jan. 26.

No previous acting experience required. All are welcome.

No preparation necessary – scripts will be provided.

Bring a theatre resume if you have one.

Bring a list of possible rehearsal conflicts.

AUDITIONS FOR FOLLOWING CAST MEMBERS/CHARACTERS:

Host/Narrator: Helps tell the story of the Mardi Gras mystery. Any age, male or female.

Beignet “Benny” Thibodeaux: Police detective in charge of the investigation. Any age, male or female.

Pierre DuPree: A wealthy New Orleans businessman whose murder sets off our mystery. (Small amount of lines/”dead body”). Male, over 50.

Alexis DuPree: Pierre’s socialite daughter and reigning Miss Magnolia Queen. Female, mid 20s.

Matthew “Gator” Kravitz: A boy from the Bayou working his way through law school. Male, mid 20s.

Melissa DuPre: A Las Vegas cocktail waitress who is Pierre’s new wife. Female, between 20s and 40s.

Annika Gothicka: An eccentric mystery novelist and Pierre’s next door neighbor. Female, middle age and above.

Jim Bob Peek: The DuPree family attorney and Pierre’s closest friend and confidante. Male, middle age and above

Delphine St. Gresch: Young and attractive maid at DuPree Chateau. Female, between 20s and 40s.

Cayenne Pepper: DuPree family chef and aspiring TV star. Male, between 20s and 40s
