Moody Landscapes in Oils with Alisa Beck

Create atmosphere and drama!

In this workshop, students will create a moody landscape painting in oils while exploring atmosphere, expressive brushwork, color, and value. We’ll focus on simplifying the landscape, building depth, and using paint in a loose, painterly way to capture the feeling of a place.

Students may use water-soluble oils or their preferred oil paint brand. Colors can be based on each artist’s signature palette or a double primary palette. This is a great class for all levels.
